MADE-TO-ORDER, READY-TO-SHIP & CUSTOM PIECES

At Darklim Jewels, every creation follows its own journey. My jewellery is crafted through a conscious, artisanal process, where each piece is sculpted in wax, cast in metal and carefully hand-finished.

Some pieces are already made and ready to find their new home, while others are created especially for you after your order is placed.

To make this clear, every product page will display a label indicating its availability and production status.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & PRODUCTION STATUS

Each Darklim Jewels piece will display one of the following labels:

READY TO SHIP

These pieces are already made and ready to begin their journey to you.

Ready-to-ship orders are dispatched within 2–5 business days.

MADE TO ORDER

These pieces are created especially for you after your order is placed. Although the finished design is shown on the product page, the piece is not kept as ready-to-ship stock and requires additional production time.

Please allow 2–8 weeks for production, depending on the design and current workshop schedule. Most made-to-order pieces are ready within approximately 3–4 weeks, although some may take longer due to casting schedules and the artisanal processes involved.

Please always check the product label, description and estimated production time before placing your order.

CUSTOM-MADE PIECES

Custom-made pieces are created specifically according to your personal requests and specifications. This may include custom designs, modifications, personalised sizes, special engravings or other individual changes made specifically for you.

Because these pieces are created especially to your specifications and cannot be resold as a standard Darklim design, custom-made pieces cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun, except where required by applicable consumer law, including in the event of a defect or if the piece does not conform to the specifications agreed with you.

Before production begins, I will make sure that the details of your custom piece have been agreed with you. Please carefully review and confirm all specifications before production starts, as changes or cancellations may not be possible once the piece is in production.

By ordering a custom-made piece, you acknowledge and accept that it is created specifically for you and that, once production has begun, it is not eligible for return or refund under the applicable custom-made exception.

STANDARD MADE-TO-ORDER DESIGNS

Please note that a standard Darklim Jewels design being produced after you place your order does not, by itself, make the item a custom-made product.

Standard made-to-order designs are pieces from my existing collection that are produced after your purchase rather than kept in ready-to-ship stock.

For standard made-to-order designs, your statutory consumer rights, including your applicable right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.

PERSONALISATION

Some pieces may require additional production time because of personalisation, such as special engravings or personalised sizing.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, personalised pieces generally require approximately one additional week of production before shipment.

Please note that personalisation requested specifically according to your individual instructions may fall under the custom-made conditions described above.

HANDMADE VARIATIONS

Every Darklim piece is individually handcrafted. Slight variations in texture, finish, patina or appearance may occur from one piece to another.

These natural differences are part of the handmade nature of my jewellery and make each creation unique. They are not considered defects when they fall within the expected characteristics of a handcrafted piece.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING TIMES

Made-to-order pieces require time for sculpting, casting, polishing and hand-finishing before they are ready to travel to their new home.

Production times may occasionally vary depending on foundry schedules, workshop volume or the specific requirements of a design.

If your order experiences a significant delay beyond the estimated timeframe, I will contact you with an update.

Ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 2–5 business days.

Made-to-order pieces are dispatched once production is complete.

Please remember that production time is separate from shipping time. Delivery times will depend on your destination and the shipping method selected at checkout.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read the product description, availability label and estimated production time before completing your purchase.
