Heart of the Wild represents the heart as a refuge of memory. Its wings symbolize the protection of those who continue walking beside us even though we can no longer see them.
The three cypress trees spring from the heart like an eternal forest. The cypress, a tree linked since ancient times to mourning, immortality, and remembrance, unites earth and sky and speaks to us of the soul's continuity beyond death.
The small, irregular thorns that run along the arteries evoke the wounds left by love when it loses someone. They are not perfect, because neither are our scars; each one tells a different story and is part of who we are.
The garnet, deep as a drop of blood, represents life that continues to beat, the strength of the bond that remains, and the love that does not disappear with absence.
Designed by my son Aaron, this pendant holds a very special place within Between Two Worlds. It is a symbol of the strength born from pain, of memory that takes root, and of the love that continues to grow between two worlds.
