An ancient Irish legend tells of the wolves of Ossory...
Deep within the ancient forests of Ireland, it was said that a curse fell upon the people of Ossory.
Every seven years, a man and a woman were forced to shed their human form and roam the wilderness as wolves.
They were neither fully beast nor fully human.
Beneath the fur remained a human soul, bearing their memories, their love, and their longing for home.
One night, a traveler resting by a campfire in the woods heard a wolf speak to him.
The creature had not come to hunt.
It had come seeking help.
And so, beneath the darkness of the ancient forest, the boundary between man and beast—between fear and compassion—seemed to vanish.
This talisman is my interpretation of that ancient legend: a wild creature guarding a secret world between two forms.
The deep-blue druzy agate evokes a fragment of an ancient winter sky, while the key speaks of hidden doors and forgotten paths. The small flame burns against the darkness, and the snowflake marks the silence of the forest.
A talisman for those who have always felt that hidden worlds exist just beyond what we can see.
